How to install right click menu choices?

I know how to go into folder options/advanced and add an option like
open/edit or whatever. What I want to do is make a right click item of
"Edit" for files with no extention. I have a text editor that when it
installed itself does exactly that. Right click on just about any file type
and one of the choices is that program.
