I've found some rather interesting articles that delve very deeply into the architecture of different CPUs.

What I am interested is in links to other articles. I'm mainly looking for something on K10 or K8 or nehalem but any CPU articles that delve into the underlying architecture or evolution of a specific generation will be good.

I will check back and any article links I like that you guys post, I will add to this list. I found one on core2 but lost the bookmark. I will post it here if I find it. Anyway, starting the list:

I miss the rapid execution engine of the pentium 4 days..In other words the Instruction per Clock has increased to 10 or 9 however the clock speed has decreased allowing for more instructions to enter the pipeline and the pipeline has now become more longer.
Nowadays it isnt about more speed but about more instructions that you could fit in one clock cycle.
