Internet setting in windows 7

how can i connect internet with my samsung phone and data cable in to my laptop? there is no modem option in control panel>phone and modem. my os is windowa 7 ans fast

What you're talking about is 'tethering'. What Is Tethering?
Most of the time it's a wireless connection.

Also be sure to check that your cell phone company allows tethering. Many do not.
