I have not had much luck. I am trying to find an am3 3way sli motherboard, and have only found intel options. I am trying to sli 2 460s and use a third card for physx (opinions on good physx cards would be great as well). Please, if you have seen any fitting motherboards, please post a reply :)

If you are willing to pay for it you could get an ASUS crosshair v formula.

On the other hand you could look at msi's am3+ boards, i think they might support 3 way sli

I do not know what the significance is with the 16x vs 8x though

The Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 supports 3-way SLI.

It has 6 PCIe x16 slots, but your 3-way only run at x8.

16x and 8x are only about 5% different, also you may want to go with a 990fx chip set (the am3+ ones) as they will support your am3 cpu and they support sli (i dont think that the old ones do)

you could get the asus M5A99X EVO or the SABERTOOTH 990FX both of which support sli and am3 processors.

PS : I thought that msi had more am3+ boards out sorry

Good find, more ram capability and it's much cheaper for the same thing elsewise. So I wonder what the catch is?
