Well, none of these combos will be legitimate in 2 months, and by then the Radeon 6 series will be out. Sandy Bridge for Intel will be out Q1 2011 as well, so if you wait until December, you might as well wait for January. At this very moment though, I would buy something like this:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 ($140)
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4 GB (2 x 2GB), 1600 MHz, CAS 7, 1.35 V ($95)
CASE/PSU Combo: Lian Li Lancool PC-K62 and XFX 650 W ($140 after rebate)
GPU: GTX 460 1 GB
MOBO: MSI NF980 AM3 nForce SLI motherboard ($160)
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500 GB
DVD Drive: Samsung 22x

After rebate, it's $837

So a Hyper 212+ as a CPU cooler for your planned overclock could fit in as it's only $30
