i accidently yanked out my cpu from the motherboard. the heatsink was stuck on the cpu so i didnt really think this through. i was wondering if this will leave any damage on the cpu? if it does,how i do i fix it?

The CPU pins are the main concern, if they're bent then you'll need a jeweler's tweezers to straighten and if they're broke off then 'that' component is toast. If the pins are broke off and it's stuck in the MOBO's socket then those are very difficult to retrieve. The newer CPU's just have contacts.

what about the motherboard? any damage to that one?

As I said, if your MOBO has the CPU pins then those could be bent or damaged, or if it's an older model and a CPU pin(s) is/are broke-off and left in the socket. Further, if you knocked around aka damaged other components on the MOBO (??).

edit: in the future gently twist the HSF assembly clockwise and counter clockwise then lift straight up.

To determine the cause of the errors/lockups:

Temps - run CoreTemp and not the Tjmax per your CPU -> http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ then also run HW Monitor and look for temps >60C -> http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Windows - run MSCONFIG and select diagnostic and reboot; correction indicates conflict(s). Next look at the Event Manager for Critical errors -> http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af254/Jaquith/Event_Manager.jpg

Memory - create a bootable CD/DVD of Memtest (use the ISO/zip file) and run for 2-4 passes -> http://www.memtest.org/

BIOS - Clear CMOS, see your manual and watch this video -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0

did all test and it found no error Q.Q

Okay, no Critical Errors, hard to believe BTW, not an OS issue with MSCONFIG, no memory issues, no Thermal issues, and BIOS isn't corrupted.

Run Prime95 for at least 2~4 hours in Blend mode. Failure look again for Critical errors listed in the Event Manager.

Look at the SATA run 'Fix It' -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 then if the BIOS is set to: AHCI => Start = 0 or IDE => Start = 3 and verified in the registry as shown -> http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af254/Jaquith/AHCI_Start_0.jpg

Otherwise do a full Breadboard with minimal configuration.

if this doesnt work could this be a HDD corruption?

If the BIOS is set to AHCI {Chinese} but the Registy Start value = 3 IDE {English} the WRONG driver is being loaded into Windows and 'Chinglish' will corrupt the data on the drives. To correct this follow the links above and correct the BIOS and Registry to MATCH.

BIOS = AHCI + Windows Start = 0
BIOS = IDE + Windows Start = 3

Next, fix the Corruptions by choosing the (2) selected options per this image below, schedule and reboot. This process takes a while to complete ~45 minutes or longer.
