Cannot find the wireless sign of my thinkpad on the taskbar

Hello,
my laptop is receiving internet but the nic card(s) for LAN and WLAN do not appear under internet connection

Go to Control Panel, Network Connections and click on each of the Connections (wired, wireless) and then on Properties and tick the box to display the icon on the Taskbar.
