Well i sold some old electronics i had and ordered me a xfx 5770 got it for 120.00 new . Ive got a 9800gtx+ 512mg at the moment wich was decent. But wanted to move up to direct x 11 and not spend a boat load. . From the bench mark chart it seems a bit faster than the 9800gtx+ and in some cases much faster. Any one runing the 5770? And if so how is it.

I don't have one, but have been considering getting one. The only thing that has been putting me off is that there seem to be a fair few posts with poeple having problems with them, some heat related, freezing/stuttering, some river related problems. Im going to hold out for the 6xxx series and possibly a future competing nvidia product (gts450 or whatever)

The 5770 is an awesome card but you're not going to notice a really huge difference compared to your 9800gtx+.

The HD5770 should give you a 20-25% increase in performance while using much less power, especially at idle.

Great price! I have two: but there's an odd flickering when selecting Youtube vids, and in extended desktop mode. Odd. It's the same on both cards, and in Crossfire. Other than that instance, the cards work great!

I will only use it at single desktop mode and for games or possible eyefinity. Perhaps depending on the motherboard the cards will react differntly in those situations id imagine. Thanks for the info everyone.

Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in flash?
