Approximate Purchase Date: 10/10/2010
Budget Range: As little as humanly possible, trying to stay below $600
System Usage from Most to Least Important: This will be strictly for gaming, honestly mostly just for FFXIV
Parts Not Required: ONLY NEED PC, all parts (CPU, mem, video card etc; no monitor, keyboard, mouse, or speakers needed
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Open to suggestion here, I've used NewEgg a lot in the past but its been 6 years or so
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: Whatevers going to be most cost efficient, and upgradable
Overclocking: Open to suggestion
SLI or Crossfire: Open to suggestion
Additional Comments: Basically I'm looking for the cheapest PC possible that will let me:
1. Play FFXIV smoothly (at absolute minimal graphical settings)
2. Have room to upgrade, so I can keep this a relevant machine through the next year or two worth of new release games (Specifically Diablo III and Star Wars: The Old Republic)
3. Not break the bank of my initial investment.
If you have suggestions in addition for which upgrades I'll want to start with over time that would also be great. Thanks for any advice
