About a month ago I installed a second SATA drive, a Seagate 1.5TB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Barracuda Hard Drive - 5900RPM 64MB Cache. I partiitoned the drive into into 3 seperate partitions (500Gb each) and up until today it has been working fine.
I tried to boot my PC up and it wouldnt even get to the login screen. The SATA drive is not recognised in the BIOS and it isn't recognised in computer management. If i disconnect the SATA drive windows boots up ok.
My Specs are: Asus M4A89GTD-PRO/USB3 motherboard, 8Gb Corsair Ram, 1xWD 500Gb SATA, 1 x Seagate 1.5Gb SATA, Phenom IIx2 555 Processor, 1 x DVD Writer, GTX 460 (768Mb) GPU, and I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. My system is not overclocked and everything is running at stock values.
Can anybody advise me on what I can do to get the drive back or do you think it is broke and I should therefore return it to Ebuyer which is where I brought it from.
