So I was merrily playing COD4 when my laptop suddenly shut down. I realize that I probably overheated it. This is the first time this has happened, however, so I guess I'm wondering what the chances are that my laptop has sustained permanent damage.

  4. I actually have a Dell Studio 15 laptop, with an Intel processor and ATI graphics (the specs should be below). It's only 1 year old, so it's pretty new.
