If I have no plans on taking advantage of Smart Response (SSD Caching) should I still buy a Z68 over a P67? The reason I ask this question is because I have been on several different forums today attempting to research this, and I have seen people arguing both sides, and at this point I am a little confused. The primary use of the system in question will be gaming - i5 2500K, GTX570, 8 gigs of RAM, adding a good sized SSD several weeks down the road.

Thanks for any advice.

SSD Caching isn't really worth it if you have a good sized SSD. SSD cache basically lets you use an SSD to read/write data from the hard drive. It's a useful feature, but probably if you a small SSD. If you have enough storage on an SSD to store your most important programs, then a P67 board is fine for you.
