What are these some games you play and at what settings. Also your budget and PSU would help.

5750 is better all around however if you can find a 2.0 version. You gain DX11, it performs better, and as far I know consumes less power and thus is less hot.

Well you can acutally get a 2.0 5770 for less then a 2.0 5750 by the way...

as opposed to the cheapest 2.0 5750

So why don't you tell us your motherboard and we will tell you if you should get a 2.0 or 2.1 card.

HD 5750 is equal to the HD 4850, but has DX11, consumes less power and dispatches lot less heat. So go for the HD 5750 if you're choosing between the two.

My motherboard actually sucks, it's elite groups 7050, that has a pci exp x16 v1 slot, and my power supply is cooler master 460w, actually i want this card for mafia 2, i really like mafia 1, i am not e pro gamer just play game sometimes, probably i will play crysis warhead and call of duty modern warfare 2, at 1920x1200 but medium setting is enough for me.
so with this motherboard is it worth to buy one of these graphic card? and also since my budget is enough for 4850 1GB or 5750 512 MB, still 5750 is better for 1920x1200 with 512MB less memory?
P.S: Cpu is e7400.
Thanks a lot.

Telling me you can get a 5750 on budget doesn't really help me, as I showed you a 5770 can be cheaper then a 5750 for your motherboard. I would look at the vendor information and see if there is a BIOS update that makes the elite groups 7050 support pcie 2.1, otherwise you are stuck with 2.0.

I'd go for 1GB, and the card I posted is 130 dollars, if you can deal with a rebate.

what was the rebate condition?!
I want that with 1 year warranty so the price will be around 150$ for that card.
so you think with these conditions, 4850 1GB has better performance rather than 5750 512MB for me?

The rebate condition is just that you send in the UPC code after you purchase the card, no condition really. The card comes with 2 years manufacter warranty, you wouldn't need the 1 year warranty from NewEgg.

Anyway to answer your question, if it was between the 4850 1Gb version and the 5750 512mb, I would probably go with the 5750.

You said you wanted the card for Mafia II, that is a VERY taxing game which is why I'm trying to push the better card, by the way.

You should get the HD5770 he is recommending if you can afford it. It is a more appropriate card for your resolution and about 20% faster in general.
