i am trying to pick out new parts to build a completely new desktop pc. but on the website selling the motherboard it says "windows 7 logo ready" in the specs list, what does this mean? does it come with windows 7, or is it just compatable with it? it may seem like a stupid question but i just dont want to go buying things i dont need.

Means the board is W7 compatible/certified. You can't load an OS on the motherboard...
