I have a computer for a customer that will Randomly go to a black screen. Computer is still turned on but unresponsive.

Here is what I have tried to do to localize the problem with no luck.

-Checked all connections.
-checked all drivers
-checked bios
-tryed safe mode and all variations of it
-i was able to do a system restore to months before the problem started
-changed video with a known good Video card
-changed ram with known good ram
-changed slots ram was pluged into
-changed psu with a known good psu
-changed all power cords/outlets to known good ones
-booted to cd with acronis, winxp setup, and win 7 setup and it will still randomly go to a black screen.
-unplugged everything from mobo except a known good cd-rom and booted to cd and still goes to black screen.

So I thinking the mobo has failed. Anyone have any ideas on any more troubleshooting that I can do?

Solution
Unfortunately motherboards have a habit of going faulty due to bad connections to the BGA chips (Ball Grid Array) and give symptoms like you have described, flexing the board will often cause the problem to disappear for a while (enabling you to sell the computer if you are unscrupulous). It requires specialist equipment to re-flow the chips and is not always successful.
