How does this look for an administrative system to replace old P4? Will have 3 hard drives for data backup, SCSI card and old DAT3 drive.

Looks good, though this system could run easily on a 550W since you aren't using a video card.

I would suggest a setup like this if going below budget is fine -
CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz
Even for gaming the Phenoms only offer a slight advantage over the Athlons, so for other tasks, I doubt you would notice any significant performance difference...

Thanks for the tip but I am going to stick with the Phenom 2 as I might make it a backup VMWare ESXi box in the future and put some more memory in it.

Any more tips?

^ Hmm,... then why not try the X6 1055T ? More cores would be beneficial for virtualization...
