Hello,
hi i formated my gatwway w650i and tried to install windows 7 then tried xp all i was a blinking line in the left top on screen . i dont have the disk anymore that came with computer. all this started because i wanted windows 7. HELP

could you provide more detailed information.
I assume you first tried to install windows 7, and then get an error and tried to go back to XP, but the factory disc comes in one hidden partition and you already formatted this ?

I'm not sure about your issue. Please provide more detailed info.
