APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within a month
BUDGET RANGE: About $1000 (Give or take)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Serfing the Internet, Listening to Music
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Any reputable site
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: None
OVERCLOCKING: Maybe. Never done it so dont' know what it intales
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Again maybe. Never done it so dont' know what it intales

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Looks like 1440x900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I have a dell xps 210 so I can use some of those parts if necessary. Mainly I want a computer that can play WoW and I not have to worry about getting 15fps at 1440x900. don't like the smaller (?) screen sizes like 1280x1024.

I built my gf this in june, her monitors also 1440x900 and she gets 30-50 fps in lagaran at busy times and it should be cheap enough to build, dont worry about crossfiring, theres no need with wow, but if you overclock it to say 3.2 Ghz once you get comfortable
If your interested, her pc build is the third link in my sig,

AsRock M3a770de
AMD X3 435 (standard issue cooler)
Sapphire 5770 1Gb
4Gb cheap ram 1333 (My 435 takes 1600Mhz, hers wont)
Cheap case,
600w Storm psu, cheapish make but find whatever suits you though
See how cheap you can find the bits on newegg while you wait for any other answers mate, I'll check back later
Moto

the 1440x900 might be due to the fact that my video card currently is a radeon 1300/1500 series. I just want to get a comp that won't be screaming "scrap me!" in 6 months to a year like my dell xps210 is right now. I'm saying 1k cause I don't want to be limited in my choices.

that motherboard will not work with the i5 cpu. you want an 1156 motherboard.
You might try this if you don't plan to Crossfire/SLI:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681315719

if yuo want to crossfire/sli, the EVGA micro ATX at $74.99 (8x single, 8x/8x dual) or the ASRock H55 at $144.99 (16x, 8x/8x) are your next best bets.

don't get the Seagate 7200.11 series, there were several flaws. the seagate 7200.12 1 TB is on sale right now for $54.99, its probly worth getting that.

I couldn't get to the mother board you linked to if i don't plan to crossfire/sli says its not available.

the otther mother boards i couldn't find by price either. don't really know what the 8x or 16x things mean.

the 16x and 8x are measures on the bandwidth on the PCI northbridge that the slots can use. the 1156 chipset can't manage 2 16x PCIe on its main board. it handles this by 3 options: a 16x solo, an 8x always board like the EVGA board, a 16x solo, 8x/8x like the $145 board, or a 16x/4x on some boards (which mean you get 4x/4x in crossfire/sli. horribly slow)

the EVGa board manages 2 SLI/Crossfire ports on a low cost board by limiting it to 8x even if its just one

here, lets try again:

AS Rock motherboard, max 2 sticks of DDR3 ram, 1 PCIe x16 slot, $69.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157190

this is an ASRock board with a 16x/4x: $89.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157181

The EVGa board, which is 8x solo, and 8x/8x dual: $89.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188064

and this MSI board, a 16x solo, 8x/8x dual for $99.99

Will The Power Supply work for this build? Sorry to be asking so many questions i know i want an I5 cpu and need MS7 and really want the radeon 5850 video card....as far as every thing else. don't really care that much. I would like a good case that is quiet, has a power button on the front and you can see inside of it. Thats why i chose the Rosewill Destroyer. I want to thank everyone in advance for all thier help.
