Been looking around and AMD motherboards have more SATA 6Gb/s ports. Why and when is Intel motherboards going to support more SATA 6Gb/s ports? Something else too, USB 3.0. Neither have many USB 3.0 ports.

Looking at the specifications on the upcoming LGA 2011 motherboards, its seems that 10 SATA III (6Gb/s) ports could be the standard for the X79 chipset.

As for USB 3.0 I'm with you, I thought that it would have been rolled out quicker then this. I'm a little surprised that the X79 will not have native 3.0 support.
