Hello, I was wondering if I could install a WD5000AAKB PATA Internal hard drive as a second storage. I not sure if it is compatible with my other SATA Hard drive or motherboard. I have a Dell Dimension E310 with XP. Thank you for your time.

Solution
There is 1 x standard 40-pin IDE (PATA) port provided on the motherboard of a Dell Dimension E310, so provided it isn't already in use, you can connect your PATA hard drive to it.

I can't confirm that the E310 has mounting rails for a second hard drive though, so you may have to buy a mounting kit.
