No beep

Hello,
my computer starts but i dont get a beep why?

Does it just stay on a black screen?

If yes, that means it's not POSTing. This would be a hardware issue.

Do you get any signs of life?
What are your hardware specs?

it will go into windows with no problem, but it use to beep then the monitor would show bios spec's
then go into windows
it has a attached speaker tryed to put in a new speaker but the same
when i first put the computer together it would boot up with a post beep
it works just no beep duh? i dont get it do you

Sounds like the speaker isn't on the correct pins, or it's defective.
