Hello everyone.

I read somewhere that HDD's are more prone to failure at low temperatures rather than high temperatures.
So I wanted to ask if this is true or not. I'm asking this because I'm paranoid about overheating and breaking my PC components because of the temperature.

Thanks in advance!

All components in a computer have a temperature limit...
The HDD is probably more robust than some of the other components in your system..
The only thing I can think of is bringing a cold machine into a warm place and running it before it has warmed up..

That still doesn't answer my question.
For a HDD, it's more harmful high temperatures or low temperatures?
And please, read the entire 1st post before posting.
