HDMI improve gaming graphics?

I have a 460gtx with a hdmi plug in with a 23" lg 1080p monitor will running a hdmi cord between the two improve graphics or should i say picture? Thank you

HDMI and DVI are essentially the same thing. Of course DVI does not carry audio. If you are currently using VGA then you should switch to HDMI or DVI. I don't know how much, if any, improvement there will be though.
