i know that the last one were : X58 ,
i just wanna know for no reason , just for my knowlege ...

Today the latest Intel is the Z68 for the LGA 1155, and 990FX for the AM3+. In the next 2-3 months (October/November) the X79 for the LGA 2011 which is the LGA 1366/X58 replacement.
