About to pull the trigger on purchasing the following for a new i7, micro-ATX system.

CPU - Intel i7-950
Motherboard - Asus Rampage III
Memory - G.Skill DDR3-1600 - (on Asus' approved list)
Video - Asus ENGTX460
Hard drive - Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 6mb/s
PSU - Corsair HX 620w, modular
Case - CoolerMaster Elite 342

Looking for recommendation regarding aftermarket CPU fan. I don't plan to overclock. Is the OEM heatsink & fan sufficient?

Any other comments welcome.

Well... I think most of that is in my original post, but I'll give it a go....

Approximate Purchase Date: about to pull the trigger

Budget Range: My list comes to about 1,300, so let's say: $1000 - 1500.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Multitasking office apps, email, internet, some photo editing, desktop publishing, some gaming. Also use a rather intensive database/document management & display program - think searching 500,000 pdfs, tiffs, word docs, etc. and being able to call up and view individual or groups of docs by boolean search parameters of document contents, titles and tags.

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS (using win7-64bit)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: U.S.

Parts Preferences:

CPU - Intel i7-950
Motherboard - Asus Rampage III
Memory - G.Skill DDR3-1600 - (on Asus' approved list)
Video - Asus ENGTX460
Hard drive - Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 6mb/s
PSU - Corsair HX 620w, modular
Case - CoolerMaster Elite 342

Overclocking: No.

SLI or Crossfire: Don't think so. Not clear what the benefits or reasons for this are.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC, generally keep them for 4-5 years.
