I would go for the 820 oem for $99.99 at newegg so you don't have to worry about unlocking cores.

the athlonII x3 450 is a good processor. You didnt list what your intended uses are but it does decent even in gaming.

If your gaming get the Phenom II X3 or Phenom II X2 and OC the *** out of it. If your not gaming get the Athlon II X3. That mobo will unlock cores, well mine did. I don't know if I'm just lucky or my Phenom II X3 740 was a broken one :L I have the same mobo its great :D  But like o1die I think the 820 is a steal you should check it out. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It's an early Phenom II am3; still good for gaming; the L3 cache makes it better than the propus for about the same price.

Yeah I forgot to mention that the L3 cache gaming really makes a difference, but do everything else it doesn't really. So even if you get a Phenom II X2 its faster then the Athlon II X3 or something in gaming at least.
