Small round hole on processor

right, when replacing my motherboard/psu I have found that the processor (a pentium 4 HT) has a small round hole, maybe 4-5 mm on it (not a bump, but like a real hole on top of it near one of the corners)- I take it that is not a good sign.

Its for putting a chain through and wearing round your neck, PC bling.

Don't worry they like that.

It's normal. It's a vent hole; may be needed during the bonding of the top piece to the cpu core underneath.
