Can someone please tell me if these parts are going to fare out to be the nice machine I plan to build for gaming?

For gaming you are going to want to change that up a little bit. I wouldnt get 8GB of memory, especially not in the form of 4 2GB sticks, get a 2x2 kit it should cost you less than 2 2GB sticks separately. I would also pick a samsung F3 or a 1TB WD Caviar black (the 2FAEX not the 1FALS) they are two of the fastest drives available thanks to their 500GB platters.

The rest of it looks pretty good, but check for combos and switch the 460 for a 1GB model if you can, it actually provides more performance with the 460.
