Can anyone advise me, I was going to do A i5-760 build, with the new sandy bridge cpu's comming out, is their a i5-760 equivalent to use? This for a desktop build.

Base on price points, the i5 2400 would be equal in cost but a much better CPU ( http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html )... It rates with the i7 950. The one thing to consider is the cost of the motherboard. I see the lowend SB boards coming in around the mid to highend LGA 1156 boards. However, any current build should be based on the LGA 1155, unless planning on 3-way SLI & highend Video editing, which the X58 Hex-cores are still the better option... IMO.
