Recommend a motherboard

I'm building a new system and I have everything except for a motherboard.

I just sent back my ASUS P8 P67 pro rev 3.1 because it had a really strange problem that no one at their "tech support" could figure out. I'm also seeing a lot of problems with that board on this site so I'd like to stay away from it (and ASUS if possible).

So if anyone can recommend a motherboard based on my GPU and CPU and give a quick reason why they recommend it, that would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend it because I just tried my first Asrock board (z68 Fatal1ty Pro). Best board and the easiest set-up ever for me (I've only had Asus, Gigabyte boards before). So I would recommend the Fatal1ty board for you, but it's over kill and more expensive than what you had. The Asrock Extreme3 has everything you need and then some, spec wise is similar to what you had only better, and it's about $50 less than the Asus board you had.
