Hi guys, i'm building my first rig and have a problem. My seagate pipeline 500GB has screw holes, but my Coolermaster cm 690 ii has drive bays with rubber grommit pins, the pins dont fit in completely, therefore making it unable to fit in the drive bay. Any solutions? I read about a bit and someone said they had to file the ends down a mm or so, is this the best solution? thanks again

If you are insistent on getting it in the bay, then yes.
But it won't hurt to duct-tape your HDD to your case, especially the bottom.
