Monitor/VGA connectors

I've been wondering for a while now. Is there really a difference between what connectors (D-Sub, DVI, HDMI) you use to connect your monitor with your graphics card? Does using different connectors like lower your response time or quality or have some other side effects?

  1. I don't notice a difference to be honest, I guess VGA might not be as crisp, but I've only used it on a matte screen.

I can't tell a difference between HDMI and DVI. There might be one, but its so small its noticeable.

As far as I know the response time is part of the monitor and has nothing to do with the signal from the graphics adapter, so it shouldn't matter.
  2. HDMI port provides sound, meanwhile DVI not. Bur both of them provides the same quality of picture...
    Well, some kind like that...
