I've been wondering for a while now. Is there really a difference between what connectors (D-Sub, DVI, HDMI) you use to connect your monitor with your graphics card? Does using different connectors like lower your response time or quality or have some other side effects?

I don't notice a difference to be honest, I guess VGA might not be as crisp, but I've only used it on a matte screen.

I can't tell a difference between HDMI and DVI. There might be one, but its so small its noticeable.

As far as I know the response time is part of the monitor and has nothing to do with the signal from the graphics adapter, so it shouldn't matter.
