you cannot download RAM since it is hardware and not software.

You must purchase RAM as emerald said it is physical hardware. But do be sure to get the same exact size and speed as your other ram sticks so it will run in dual channel, If not, the performance will likely degrade instead of increase by running in single channel.

In addition to hermz's valuable comments, having two different types/makes of RAM can also result in serious instability issues.

I've seen and built cheap computers with different memory makes and different speeds and never really had any problems before. If you install two memory modules at different speeds in dual channel operation, both of the memory modules will run at the same speed at the slowest module.
