Dear experts,

Really need your generous help on my PC as it cannot be start after several
times of blue screen appeared. The mobo doest boot at all which only the fans
are working and it just stuck with a blank black screen.

I've also tried to update the bios by changing the "Clear RTC" jumper
from 1-2 to 2-3 and plug in a thumb drive with latest bios update. It doest
work at all and it gets worst, The fans and everything totally can't start.

Kindly please advice what on should I do. Thank you

PC specs:
Win 7 64bit
Mobo: P5Q Pro
CPU: intel Quod Core 6600 2.66
Ram: Ocz Reaper 2gx4
GPU: HD4770 x2 (crossfire)
PSU: CM silent pro 700w
HDD: Samsung 1TB
Sound card: Creative Fatal1ty X-fi

Trying to update the bios was a mistake.
You should have replaced the motherboard.
A different motherboard from a different manufacturer will pretty much make you happy.
Reloading drivers will only make it work temporarily, then it will fail again.
Think Gigabyte.

Hi I have a Asua P5q Pro MB with and had lots of trouble trying to get IDE HDD to wor, Sata works fine. The found that the IDE drive is very picky about the ribbon cable you use. Try changing all kinds of setting to no avail but when a tried a new ribbon cable the problem was solved.

Then I tried to use an external usb drive with a IDE inside - again problems - the same drive worked on my HP netbook running win 7 32 bit but ASUS P5Q pro rinning win 7 64 was slow to recognize the drive and would freeze when i tred to look at the files. Changed the cable from the external drive ( usb cable ) and again problem solved
