Asus P5Q Pro

Dear experts,

Really need your generous help on my PC as it cannot be start after several
times of blue screen appeared. The mobo doest boot at all which only the fans
are working and it just stuck with a blank black screen.

I've also tried to update the bios by changing the "Clear RTC" jumper
from 1-2 to 2-3 and plug in a thumb drive with latest bios update. It doest
work at all and it gets worst, The fans and everything totally can't start.

Kindly please advice what on should I do. Appreciate ypu help, Thank you

Win 7 64bit
Mobo: P5Q Pro
CPU: intel Quod Core 6600 2.66
Ram: Ocz Reaper 2gx4
GPU: HD4770 x2 (crossfire)
PSU: CM silent pro 700w
HDD: Samsung 1TB
Sound card: Creative Fatal1ty X-fi

I would take everything out of the computer besides your mobo and cpu and 1 ram stick and see if it can post. If not, than it may be even the PSU or the motherboard/cpu. Try that than get back to us.

Everyone I've spoken with that has had a P5Q series board has had similar issues, your components are fine. the P5Q series bios is the biggest joke ever. There are memory holes the size of the grand canyon and serious issues with CPU support. Return the board if you can, if not scrap it. It's not worth the trouble. Personally, I will never buy another Asus board.
