I have a Gateway LX6200 which I now need to run dual monitors on for work along with gaming since it is my home computer. I would prefer if I can get one that can run both at high resolution, but only one has to. I will be using for ArcGIS mapping and not real advanced gaming.

Is this your computer?

Almost all graphics cards will let you run dual monitors anymore. You have 1 PCI-e slot, and a 400w graphics card if I'm correct.

What resolution do you game at, and what do you care about for graphics? You said light gaming so I'm not sure you care about high settings and what not. Also we need to know your budget.

If ALL you need is a dual monitor setup you can get by with a 40 dollar graphics card.

Thanks, thats what I thought but wanted to confirm. Yea thats my computer, also when I have tried to use the HDMI connection the screen stops working after a few minutes.
I will probably just go down to Wal-Mart or Best Buy then.
