1st Time Doing a Mobo & CPU Swap ... HELP!

Hi, I plan to (just) swap my current mobo and CPU. It's my 1st time. Can someone let me know if I'm on the right track. Thanks.

Current setup:
Asus P5LD2 Deluxe mobo
Pentium D 840 3.2 GHz CPU
Win XP Pro, SP3
3 Gb DDR2 system RAM
Nvidia 9500GT video card
LG DVD Reader
450W power supply

New setup:
Asus P5P43TD/USB3 mobo + Core 2 Duo E7600 3.06 GHz CPU
and
Win XP Pro, SP3
3 Gb DDR2 system RAM
Nvidia 9500GT video card
LG DVD Reader
450W power supply

Plan:
So I will just take out the old mobo, put the new mobo + new CPU in the computer case. Put the DDR2 ram on new mobo. Put the 9500GT on new mobo. Connect the power supplies to my hard drive, new mobo, LG DVD reader. Connect the CPU/mobo fans. Boot up the computer, update drivers if needed, and done. Just like that, right? Am I missing something?

From your basic configuration, I assume you would like an AMD configuration.

BTW : if you want use your old RAM, you can find any AM2+ mobo with DDR2. This way you have just to buy a mobo and an X4.
This way, you can keep almost everything except your old proc and mobo.
