I7 2600k i5 2500k WHERE ARE THEY!!!!?

hey guy's i live in Australia and im looking for a store that sells i7 2600k and i5 2500k it must be the K due fact K stands for unlocked and thats only one i want, but for some reason i been looking at the online stores and they just have standard ones and they don't tell you if its K ones or standard ones could some one help me I been looking everywhere and i don't get why no one is selling K versions... :(

Sorry i cant help much (since i dont live there) but you can tell the K series has a silver stripe, and here in the US it doesnt come out untill Sunday

oh maybe its world wide would u happen to know prices of K version ? i been told prices of the new CPU are aready over priced and K version a supposedly cost even more

I Think the new i5 2500k is going to be $216 and the regular i5 2500 about $200, as for the i7 2600k i think around $300

EDIT!: that is in US dollars idk what it would be in what ever currency you use there :p

The preliminary release was the 5th of this month. Other than that, theoy should be on shleves about the 9-18th of this month.

I would doubt it. MANy soteres might not have it until the 18 at most. It was teh date of the consumer release.

microcenter has it the 9th in the US. Hopefully amazon, newegg and/or tiger will have it then too (I'd say whatever local time is for those site's home locations or eastern time).

well they have prices up but it still to early to say if theses are just scam prices at moment due fact im sure these are non K versions of CPU and asking for 350 + just for theses things so maybe waiting for price to drop lets be honest INTEL you do really like suck up much money u can ... i mean its not even top end lol?? and its that expensive WHAT THE HELL... i never in my life witness such out ragers priceing for non Top end product -_- how sad

the site i went to had Intel Core i5 2600 Processor, 3.40GHz, 6MB Cache, Socket LGA1155 for $358 lol i wonder if they bring out i5 2600k >.> it would interesting indeed then maybe 5GHZ would be more possible yes i know u can reach 5ghz+ on others but its not recommended to have it that high

they gotta make it, box it, and ship the processors to retailers. Most likely see it in February along with the motherboards. they aren't going to ship the processors without motherboards in stock.

Probably because they are scheduled to be released at a later date in your country.
