i am using compaq p4-2.933ghz cpu
model no of my pc is (compaq-SR1435IL)

1.can i over clock this machine
2.there is no pci-express slot but i thing i can mount it can any one suggest me how to do it

You may be able to do software OC's but you have such limited powers in prebuilt's bios that you arent going to be able to adjust bios settings to OC like normal.

Your motherboard only has 3 PCI slots, are you asking how to mount a PCI-E slot to your board? If so it cant be done, you need to get a new board, your processor is LGA 775 so you can still get boards for it.

you can oc, but not much considering it is pre built, and doesnt have a good cooler, but yeah, u can oc it a little bit. just manually go into the bios, or use any software it came with. id recommend going much above a 300 MHz oc though with stock cooling, maybe 400. and you cant add a pci e slot, u need to buy a new board
