GT 240 and 9600GT are basically the same thing.

The best in that list is a 9800GT by far.

However judging by what you are looking at, look into a 5670, or maybe even a 5750 if you can find one on sale. The 5670 performs about the same as a 9800GT and comes with DX11.

DX11 Is Pointless In That With Most Cards That Cost Around The Price Of A 9800GT, The 5750 Or 5670 May Perform ABOUT The Same As An 8800GT But It Makes No Differance Because The Cost Of Tesselation (DX11s Most Prevelant Feature) Is Too Great To Be Enabled, Personally Id Go With The 8800GT Witch Prolly Has More Shader Performance Than Any Other Of The Above Stated Cards, I Wouldnt Bother With DX11 Untill There Are Sub $150.00 Cards That Can Actually Smoothly Use Tesselation, The 9800GT Will Be Good For Another Generation AND CUDA Can Be Very Benaficial.

It's not all about "smooth tesselation" (hell at least it has tesselation xD), the 5670 is also cheaper than the cheapest 9800GT I could find. (Although its only a couple dollars)

Put on top of that, that they perform roughly the same, and the 5670 draws a LOT less power and creates less heat, it makes it a perfect option especially when we don't know his PSU.

Also the cheapest new 8800Gt I could find was well over 100 dollars.

Regardless, the 9800GT is still the best card from your first list of cards.

The 9800GT is a great card! It's kinda old now, but you can still see it performing brilliantly with all the latest games....of course, provided you stick it within the appropriate settings of the game!

So, what we would like to know is, what are your system specs? PSU/ CPU/ RAM, etc. Post these up and let's see if we can't help ya!
