Hi, I OCed my I5-750 to 3.6Ghz and I need someone to check if the values are still in the safe zone.
the CPU now runs at about 38*C idle and up to 62*C when running Prime 95. playing Crysis for an hour tops at 53*C
here are the settings (msi p55 mobo):
base clock: 180
multiplier: 20
= 3.6GHz
C1E: enabled
OC step: Disabled
intel EIST: disabled (meaning turbo disabled, not sure. Clocks still top at 3.6GHz though so it seems to be off)
CPU Voltage: 1.212
CPU VTT: 1.112
Spread Spectrum: Enabled
Thanks!
oh, and if someone needs more info please tell me
