I wonder why? Did someone their jump the gun on pricing? Are they backing out of the deal?

I just called them and they told me the price for a 2600k was 369, and 2500k was 249. I believe that was the same price before the instant savings. I'm wondering if they're going to honor that now. I'm also curious why they would remove the ad considering it's prompting a ton of people to want to dive to their B&M store sunday.

Yeah the prices are the same, and don't worry. Intel says that Sandy comes out 09-01-2011, even if Microcenter doesn't have you will have many option.

Hard to believe but possible.

Maybe they were getting swamped with calls, and woke up and figured "WHY the heck are we discounting so much on Day 1 when we can at least skim some extra profit off all the enthusiasts who absolutely NEED one on Sunday morning.
