AMD 6870 leaked benchmark?

That would put it 20% faster than a gtx 480 and 35% faster than a 5870.

A forum member on Chinese website has leaked a 3D Mark Vantage Extreme benchmark, alongwith a GPU-Z screenshot, alleged to be from a next-gen ATI Radeon HD 6870.

20-30% faster than the 5870 is in line with what was being talked about for a long time, so this could be real enough. I'm interested to see what the power draw is like, hopefully we wont have to wait too long to find out.

VR-zone claimed it was using the correct code numbers that squeaked out in the latest 10.8 drivers.

If it is fake it is a good one... Though "Roughly 30% faster" is about in line with what anyone woudl guess for a new card anyway...

Reading some more stuff about this around the net, there is talk of it being 50% faster than the 5870.

If that's true, wow it truly is a new series.
