Whats dvi

Hello,
Hello i just bought a new computer with a hx2000 monitor it has vga hook up on the back and dvi hook up on the bacj but theres no dvi hook up on the back of computer for dvi how can i hook up my monitor to dvi?

If your computer does not have a DVI port:
a) Hook up the monitor using VGA
OR
b) If your computer has an HDMI port, you can use an HDMI-to-DVI converter cable

If your computer does not have DVI or HDMI, a digital output connector, then you cannot use digital output. You must buy a graphics card that has DVI or HDMI output.
