I have deleted my other external hard disk drivers accidentally i want to reinta

Hello,
while tryng to install windows xp on my computer,i forgot to remove my external hard disk.when i reach to a section of creating partition i deleted some of the section but before going on formatting i took out the external hard disk.later on after my installation have finished i try to connect my hard disk and it show the the hard disk is connected but i doesn't show up on my computer.so can u guys please help me with that.i've got some important stuff in Hard drive.pls

Insert in other system . If working correctly no problem . If not detect in all system, just format that hdd by using manufacturer software .
