Hi. I would just like to know if anyone could tell me about any faults in any brand of the model Z68 type motherboard before I end up buying one. Just in case I end up buying a dud of a board.

I don't know of any faults with the Z68 chipset. If you want some real longevity for gaming you could get a board from MSI that has PCI-E 3.0

If you have a high budget then wait a few months for all the new tech to come out. New CPUs from Intel and AMD, new GPUs, the list goes on.
