TV does not work with my computer

Hi!

The 40" LCD TV that I have just bought doesn't work with my HD3870

- The card and the DVI-HDMI adaptor that came with it are ok since they have been working with another TV
- The new TV and the 5m HDMI cable also works as I tested them a HDMI direct output laptop.

May this adaptor doesn't work with this cable in particular?

No way, TV works with cable and laptop? = cable OK, TV OK
Old tv Cable and card OK = Cable ok, Card OK, old tv OK

ow are you connecting everything?
