Plznote, keep in mind, that although 2GB of RAM is a good idea for surround, a single GTX 460 is not. :)  You end up with a pretty high resolution at that point, and 1 single GPU isn't always the best for powering 3 monitors while gaming.

Now, with Windows 7 desktop, it'd be fine. But not for surround gaming.

@ Palit

I saw this listing on your Facebook too. Kudos for the sale. Looks like some good pricing (768 MB version especially for budget folks!). However, folks need to know these are Mail In Rebates and not "Instant Sale Prices".

Understandable. The problem with instant sale is that we are restricted to pricing in such a way.

This deal you have on a GTX 465 with the promo code is more interesting then the ones you listed imo;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
$202.50 shipped, $182.50 after rebate

P.S. I don't suppose you have any insight as to whether these would be one of the models that can possibly unlock into a GTX 470 would you?
