I'm currently attempting to play FFXIV. System specs for the game:

Operating System Windows 7 32-bit / 64-bit *
Processor Intel® Core™ i7 (2.66 GHz) or faster
Memory 4 GB or more
Storage Install: 15 GB or more
Download: 6 GB or more
Video NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460 with 768 MB VRAM or equivalent
Sound DirectSound® compatible sound card (DirectX® 9.0c or higher)
Internet Broadband Internet connection
Resolution 1280 x 720 or higher; 32-bit
DirectX® DirectX® 9.0c
Controls Mouse, Keyboard, Gamepad

Now this is what I have:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100618-1621)
System Model: DX4300
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 7936MB RAM
Page File: 1823MB used, 14044MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Now can someone help me with a new GPU? This GPU isn't the greatest and I am willing to buy a new video card from anywhere from $100-$300 CAD.
I just didn't know what's compatible with the motherboard and such.

My other question is, if I upgrade my GPU will I notice an improvement in FFXIV? Thank you in advance.

^ If you want a powerful video card, then you would have to upgrade your power supply as well, because most of the PSUs that come with factory built PCs are low powered and would not suffice for a powerful video card...
Just check if the case is compatible with standard ATX PSUs,... also if possible see if there are any details present on the PSU which is present in the case...
