PCI/VGA Pallet Snoop

Hello,
If I enable the PCI/VGA Pallet Snoop in my BIOS setup can it hurt my systems performance if nothing I have needs it? I have 2 PCI/SLI GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640mg Graphic cards. Do they or can they use the Pallet SnoopEnabled features being enabled?

I think the Pallet Snoop just enables cards that do not include their own 256 color, to have 256 colors. You shouldn't need it enabled with the 8800GTS.
